About the Cover

The cover for Blessed is She was designed by the author's granddaughter, Meghann Elfering.

She created the spiral to symbolize caregiving and life itself as a journey or labyrinth... a never-ending circle of endings and new beginnings. "The female hands represent the Mother, the caretaker, the giver of life," Meghann says.

Those hands also serve to protect the source of life, she adds.
